That said, life comes at us fast as homeschoolers. I often felt like I spent a lot of time juggling household duties, school work, field trips, and emotional moments with my kids. If your kids are home with you all the time, you know exactly what I mean, right?
In Deuteronomy, when Moses was giving his great big speech to the Israelites, he said those famous words that most Christian parents have emblazoned on their hearts:
“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates” (Deuteronomy 6:4-9, ESV).
Moses, speaking as God’s prophet, gives us the Greatest Commandment–to love God with all our heart, soul, and might. Then, he tells us to teach our children God’s words at all times.
Of course, we are to teach our kids the gospel and Scripture as we go about our day. We also should disciple them in Scripture.
Bible Road Trip™ is the perfect open and go Bible curriculum for your homeschool or your family devotions!

Open and Go Homeschool Curriculum | Bible Road Trip™
If you want to be faithful and steadfast as you take your children through Scripture, it helps to have a curriculum you can just sit down and work through. Bible Road Trip™ is highly customizable.
Just gather a few supplies and you’re ready to spend a few minutes each day in God’s Word with your family. Before you know it, you will have read through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Then, you can do it again!
What a gift to your kids your faithful discipleship will be.
Take a look at this video talking about Bible Road Trip™ as an open and go homeschool curriculum.
Ready-to-go Bible reading schedules and discussion questions.
Bible Road Trip™ has everything scheduled for you, with a five day per week reading schedule. For most levels, the reading takes just five to ten minutes per day.
The discussion questions are usually pulled right from God’s Word. You will find the verses referenced, as well, so your kids can work to find the answers if they need a little help remembering.
When you read a difficult passage of Scripture, the discussion questions will take you to a clear passage that will help explain what you’ve just read. The questions will help you identify and point out the main themes of the Bible in your reading. The prepared questions will allow your kids to identify what occurred in each passage, the original intent of the author, and modern-day application.
Just open the Bible Road Trip™ curriculum, pull out your Bibles, and get to studying God’s Word.
Read through the Bible cover-to-cover in just three years.
In just three years, Bible Road Trip™ will take you from Genesis to Revelation. The Bible Road Trip™ curriculum is just 32 weeks long, so you can take a break for summer, for weeks you’re extra busy, or for times when you’re not feeling well.
Some families continue on without taking a break at all.
If you use the curriculum at a rate of one level per year, and if you start when your oldest is in preschool, your kids will go through the Bible five times before they leave home. That’s pretty exciting, right?

Five levels include all your children, preschool to high school.
Your kids can learn at five separate levels, so their studies will be age appropriate. Many families tell us this is their favorite aspect of the curriculum. Their whole family can learn the Bible together while understanding it at a level that’s appropriate.
Not only are the reading, memorization, and notebooking scheduled developmentally for kids, there are fabulous age-appropriate resources scheduled right into the curriculum. Your kids will have the opportunity to view videos, read books, and do projects that make sense for their level of understanding–all while your family studies the same section of Scripture and discusses it together.

Keep the main things… the main thing.
Bible Road Trip™ holds to the historic doctrine of Scripture, which comes from the inspired Word of God itself. The curriculum treats the Bible faithfully, as God’s holy, inspired, inerrant, infallible Word.
The discussion questions focus on helping your kids identify and understand the grand, overarching themes of the Bible. By the time your kids have completed three years of Bible Road Trip™, they’ll be able to explain:
- Who God is
- Who mankind is, and our need for salvation
- God’s great plan for salvation
- Jesus’ commands for his followers
