You want a Bible curriculum with fun, hands-on activities to help your children better understand the Bible.
Weekly Bible crafts and activities in Bible Road Trip™ help your kids, preschool to high school, learn more about God’s Word so they can better apply it to their lives.
Bible Crafts for Kids
With Bible Road Trip™, your family will craft their way through the Bible!
Crafting can be a wonderful way for kids to further cement and explore what they’ve learned.
Bible Road Trip™ is written at five levels, so your family can study God’s Word together. Each level of the curriculum has different craft assignments, appropriate to the level of learning for your students. The Bible crafts by level for your students include:
- Preschool and Kindergarten, Grades 1-3, and Grades 4-6 – Elementary- and preschool-aged students will work on a traditional craft each week, like Bible figure stick puppets, paper plate scenes, and booklets of important figures. These fun (and simple) projects will help them better understand a theme, event, person, or sequence from their reading for the week.
- Grades 7-9 – Dialectic students are in the logic stage, where they are connecting facts and conclusions. It’s the perfect time to really understand historical dates. Your middle schoolers will keep a timeline, charting dates each week (on their timeline journal), of biblical and extra-biblical events.
- Grades 10-12 – Your Rhetoric level students learn best by teaching and explaining, so their craft each week involves creating a short video, blog post, or essay explaining what they’ve learned to someone younger. My boys made a quick video on their phones about something that struck them as important, then emailed it to me. It was a neat way for them to express themselves–and for me to find out what they thought was significant in the reading that week!
Bible Road Trip™ crafts for the early grades utilize basic resources–like scissors, markers, and cardstock. They can be done in just a few minutes, or your kids can spend more time on them if they wish. The crafts scheduled into the Bible Road Trip™ curriculum can be supplemented with crafts found at ThinkingKidsBlog.org, but that isn’t necessary. Everything you need to know for your weekly craft is scheduled right into the curriculum.
Crafting through the Bible is a fun, hands-on way to further explore the text of God’s Word.
You’ll want to start your Bible Road Trip™ crafting journey with the Books of the Bible Craft. Printable, and easy-to-assemble, it’s a craft that your kids will add to as they journey through Scripture. As they do, they’ll learn more about the way God’s Word is structured.
Bible Road Trip™ has new ideas each week to help your kids craft their way through the Word. It’s a great way to make the abstract more concrete, all the way through high school!
