What is a Unit Study for Homeschool?
Unit studies are a wonderful way to study a topic in a way kids will remember.
Usually, a unit study is based on a living book or Bible study. Then, you can add in crafts, activities, and notebooking or lapbooking. You can even add in a topically related field trip or a few more books about a subject. The best part is that a unit study can be done alongside any homeschool curriculum you are using. Just take a short break to study a topic deeply, or schedule in a few more books and/or crafts to go with the curriculum you are using.

Homeschool Unit Studies | Bible and Christian History
As an author of books on the Bible and Christian history for kids, I love creating hands-on activities that help your kids learn more about what they’re studying.
Each book I’ve written for kids has a Bible or history lapbook to go along with it. Your children will spend time writing about their new knowledge in mini-books. Most exciting of all, the lapbooks create a memory they’ll want to keep forever. (Just store them in a magazine file!)
Kids remember what they’ve learned better when they work on hands-on activities, so each one of my books has free crafts your kids can create to commemorate what they’ve learned. In fact, the crafts should help them understand biblical and historical lessons even better.
