Baby shower gifts don’t need to be complicated to be a blessing to expecting moms. You can build a quick and easy baby shower gift basket. If your church is having a baby boom, too, you can even store a number of these items and have a quick baby shower gift ready to throw together at a moment’s notice.

A Gift for Expecting Moms
If you are just going to give one gift, give the gift that teaches kids they are wonderfully created by God!
Wonderfully Made: God’s Story of Life from Conception to Birth helps children understand the wondrous way God created them. 1) Grab a gift basket.
Baskets are a fun way to contain a little baby shower gift medley, and they double as a wonderful way to store tiny clothes or diapering supplies.
2) Include a Christian book or two for the family library.
Be sure to add a copy of Wonderfully Made to the basket. You can also add one (or three) of these fabulous books for little ones that moms in your church will love!
Or, give moms two books to point their family to Jesus!
3) Add a couple newborn necessities.
When my babies were little, I never had enough onesies, sleepers, or pants available. I far underestimated the amount of clothing needed for a baby. I also loved having lots of bibs!
4) Throw in a fun toy for the car seat.
I can’t resist a little diaper bag or car seat toy. My babies enjoyed them, and they were so fun to see.
5) Wrap the basket in a two layers of cellophane (front to back, and then side to side). Tie it with a bow.
I like to keep blue and pink cellophane on hand, so I’m always ready to throw together a quick baby shower gift.
Boom! You are all set with a wonderful baby gift the expecting mom at your church will love.
