This is a Thinking Kids Show and Tell!
Jessica shares her story of using Bible Road Trip in her home,
and her daughter Camille (age 9, 4th grade) shares her notebooking work!
Don’t forget to leave Camille a comment. 🙂
We use My Father’s World for our main curriculum, which actually includes Bible study. It is one of the reasons we chose it, along with the fact that it was pretty much open and go.
Last year, the Bible study focused on the names of Jesus, and bounced around quite a bit to cover that topic. Because the MFW “Adventures” is designed for 2nd/3rd graders, we felt it was extremely simple, but let it be, thinking this year, “Exploring Countries and Cultures,” would be a bit better for our daughter. This year was supposed to be spent studying Matthew for the entire 34 week school year, to learn about serving others. That’s really great in theory, except that Camille read the entire book of Matthew in 2 weeks and then said “now what?”
