Then, the book pivots and explains four ways that the life of the Old Testament hero points forward to Jesus.

For instance, in Jesus Moments: David, your children will be looking for crowns throughout the story of King David that indicate that some part of David’s story points forward to Jesus.

Ways that Alison Mitchell shows how David’s life points to Jesus:

David was anointed with oil when God chose him to be the king of Israel. Jesus is the Christ, or Messiah, which means the anointed one. Both David and Jesus were chosen to by God to be King.
