Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible Book Club

Here’s some really exciting news! Not only can you teach the Bible to your kids–faithfully and without fear, now you can do it with friends! Join us beginning the week of February 20th, 2023 for an online book club. We’ll go through Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible together, week-by-week, chapter-by-chapter. I’ll be there to answer any specific questions you may have, and we can work together to discuss each chapter.

The Schedule

We’ll start on February 20th with the Introduction. Each week, we’ll discuss a new chapter of Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible together.

Get Ready!

There are four things you’ll want to do to get ready for our book club:

  1. Grab your copy of Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible today!
Grab a paperback copy, audiobook, or Kindle copy.
Get an autographed copy at the Thinking Kids Press store.
Want to do the study in-person with friends? Grab a pack of 5 or 10 autographed copies for a discount.
  2. Read the Introduction to Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible.
You’ll want to be ready for our first discussion starting February 20th.
  3. Join the Thinking Kids Press Facebook group.
Be sure to answer the questions so I know you’re a real person.
Why Facebook? It’s a great way for all of us to spend time together, discussing teaching the Bible as a group. And, you can visit when you have time each week.
  4. Get ready to teach the Bible faithfully and without fear. Let’s do this!

Introduction: You Can Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible

To get ready for the first book club discussion, you’ll want to read the Introduction: You Can Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible.

Each chapter has plenty of information to absorb and then to implement into your family’s routine. There’s also a challenge in every chapter that will help you take everything you learn off the page–so you can start using it in your home. Grab a pen and take notes in the margins, underline anything that really hits home, and keep a list of ideas you want to use with your family. Then, be sure you make a little time for the chapter’s challenge. (You will find your first challenge on page 21!)

For each week’s discussion, come to the Facebook group with:

  • Something you learned or were reminded of
  • Something you want to implement in your home
  • A question about something you read

You can teach the Bible to kids–faithfully and without fear. And now, we’re going to talk about it together! Ready? Go!

Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible

Looking for a family discipleship book that will give you a crash course in leading your kids through God’s Word? I’ve got you covered.

Love the Bible for Kids | A resource you'll love!

You want your kids to learn and love the Bible.

You want to teach the Bible…

As parents, we deeply desire the best for our kids. We look for the right schools, we make them eat right and exercise, and we get them involved in extracurricular activities. We take our job as parents seriously.

But are we also putting our time and energy into
teaching them the Bible? Giving them the life-changing, soul-nourishing words of Scripture is not only doable, it’s an essential part of parenting kids for Jesus. And the good news is, studying God’s Word as a family doesn’t have to be difficult!

2 Timothy 2:15, ESV, says:

Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved,
a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

Our job, as parents who love Jesus, is to help our kids become approved workers, unashamed and rightly handling the word of truth.

The good news? Teaching the Bible isn’t hard. Your family can learn the Bible together.

…and you can!

A Crash Course in Teaching the Bible to Your Kids

Danika Cooley’s book, Help Your Kids Learn and Love the Bible, will give you the tools and confidence to study the Bible as a family. It will help you identify and overcome your objections and fears, give you a crash course in what the Bible is all about and how to teach it, and provide the guidance you need to set up a family Bible study habit.

You will finish this book feeling encouraged and empowered to initiate and strengthen your child’s relationship with the Lord through His Word.
