Once upon a time, there was a people chosen and called by God. These people had a book from the Lord – a special set of Scriptures to teach them His Law. The Book of the Law was stored in a spectacular, ornate building dedicated solely to the worship of their God.
Over time, counterfeit teachings and false gods drew the hearts of the people far from their true Creator. The temple consecrated to the worship of God was misused and abused. And the Book He sent them was lost.
It was a devastating time, full of confusion, wickedness, and pain. King after king defied the Lord. Eventually, the Lord brought to the throne a young boy — a youthful king who loved Him and desired that the people worship the One, true Creator. The book was found and read aloud to the assembly of the people.
And the people wept.

Today I’m guest posting over at FutureFlyingSaucers.com about the reason I’m writing Bible Road Trip — and why I’m giving it away. My friend is hosting a series called Broken Hearts, Fueled Passions about how God called individuals into service to Him. I’d be honored if you’d check out my post and take a look at her series.
How is God calling you into service for Him?
